The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has tossed out a $120 million damages award Tuesday in a deadly foreign contract dispute between Wye Oak Technology Inc. and Iraq.
Wye Oak, a Delaware corporation with headquarters in Pennsylvania, sued Iraq in U.S. District Court alleging the Middle East nation had failed to honor a contract when Wye Oak’s owner was shot and killed trying to collect payment in Baghdad.
