In just a few weeks time, Sidley Austin D.C.-based managing associate Matt Simpson will be jetting off to Paris for his third Paralympic Games.

Simpson is going for gold in Paris as a member of the U.S. men’s goalball team, a fast-paced sport played exclusively by athletes who are blind or visually impaired. It will be his third Paralympics after also competing in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, in which the U.S. men’s national team won the silver medal, and the delayed 2020 Tokyo Games.
