Attorneys with Moore & Van Allen have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a bank in a Charlotte, North Carolina, court, seeking an outstanding balance of more than $4.1 million from a housing developer.

Benjamin E. Shook, a commercial litigator with Moore & Van Allen’s Charlotte office, filed the breach-of-contract lawsuit Thursday in Mecklenburg County Superior Court on behalf of United Community Bank, a financial institution serving Southeastern states, against Nest Homes and its founders, Zeno Brent Hawkins and Eric Matthew Wood.
