DOJ, New Jersey Judiciary Settle Over Language Access Discrimination Allegations, Retaliation Against Court Employee
"The judiciary, like the Department of Justice, is committed to ensuring equal access to the courts for all," Peter McAleer, spokesperson for the Administrative Office of the Courts, said in a statement to the Law Journal.

The U.S. Department of Justice and the New Jersey judiciary have settled allegations that the Monmouth vicinage courts failed to take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access for those with limited English proficiency and that it retaliated against a court employee for reporting those concerns.
