What You Need to Know
- Public defender Charles Snyder also introduced emails that Tom Girardi, 85, who suffered from cognitive decline, was victim to a scam involving a purported $5 billion check and then-Vice President Joe Biden.
- Tom Girardi's lawyer also questioned why an IRS agent investigating his client didn't look at dozens of Girardi Keese checks that appeared to be forged.
- To demonstrate a more complete assessment of Girardi's mental state, prosecutor Ali Moghaddas played a 2019 clip of an episode of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'
