Tom Girardi may take the stand on Thursday at his own criminal trial in downtown Los Angeles, one of his attorneys told a federal judge.

After jurors left for the day on Wednesday, federal public defender Charles Snyder told U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton, of the Central District of California, that the defense planned to call three more witnesses, including Girardi, 85, who faces charges of stealing $15 million from four clients of his Los Angeles firm, Girardi Keese.
