- The first criminal actions to come out of the Tom Girardi scandal targeted Christopher Kamon, the former CFO of Girardi Keese.
- On Feb. 1, 2023, prosecutors in Los Angeles and Chicago announced indictments against Tom Girardi in which authorities alleged he embezzled $18 million in settlements from his own clients.
- At the March 3 hearing, Robert Girardi said his brother is earning $3,000 a month in Social Security income and receiving nothing from his wife, Erika Girardi.
