GlaxoSmithKline Settles Most Zantac Lawsuits for $2.2B
The settlement, announced on Wednesday, resolves 93% of all Zantac cases in state courts against GlaxoSmithKline.

- GlaxoSmithKline agreed on Sept. 17 to settle out of the first Zantac trial in California, which began this month in Oakland.
- GSK won two defense verdicts in Illinois earlier this year but faced 75,000 cases in Delaware state courts.
- The settlement is with 10 plaintiffs firms, including Watts Law Firm and Wisner Baum.
GlaxoSmithKline has agreed to pay $2.2 billion to settle 80,000 Zantac lawsuits.
