McCarter & English has acquired Connecticut-based Harrington & Smith, picking up all of the intellectual property boutique's attorneys and staff, including three partners—Mark Harrington, Wayne Grohs and Robert Mauri—along with three associates and five professional staff members.
Harrington & Smith is effectively winding down, and its members have "already moved" into McCarter & English's Hartford office, according to Jonathan Sparks, the chair of the New Jersey-based firm's IP practice.
