These days, Big Law firms have all sorts of reasons to explore mergers with each other, from deepening their practice bench to geographic expansion.
Another one, though, may be peer pressure. Indeed, some law firms may have a fear of missing out—or FOMO—when it comes to merger talks right now, according to some industry analysts.
