Acadia Healthcare Company Inc. was hit with a securities class action for allegedly exaggerating patients' symptoms and holding patients against their will to defraud insurers.
The lawsuit emerged a little more than a month after Acadia's $19.85 million settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission involving similar allegations of medically unnecessary services.
