Attorneys from Cooley and Bursor & Fisher informed a federal judge Monday that the parties are nearing a finalized settlement in a consumer class action against Poppi's Prebiotic Sodas.
Following mediation earlier this month, the parties filed a joint stipulation on Monday indicating that they reached a resolution in principle and asked the court to grant them an additional 60 days to finalize and execute a formal class settlement agreement. According to the stipulation, the parties agreed the extra time would allow them to finalize and execute a formal class settlement agreement and preserve judicial resources, noting Poppi's pending motion to dismiss.
