Top German law firms are seeing a wave of partner moves, reshaping the legal landscape as 2025 approaches.

Linklater’s former Düsseldorf tax partner Sebastian Benz and two associates are moving to Seitze Cologne in the new year. Benz, who specialises in standalone tax matters, tax-based corporate transactions and complex company reorganisations, advised the Funke media group on its corporate expansion and takeover of media giant Axel Springer’s local newspapers and women’s magazines. He leaves after almost 30 years at Linklaters, with more than 20 of those years working as a partner.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The action, filed on Dec. 24 in New York Southern District Court by Zell, Aron & Co. on behalf of Goldeneye Advisors, accuses the defendants of negligently and fraudulently managing the plaintiff's $1 million investment.
