One of this week’s biggest legal news stories has me engaging in a little journalism nostalgia. One big reason that I joined ALM, back in 2018, was for the opportunity to write big feature stories for The American Lawyer, not just on the web, where all of my previous legal reporting had landed, but in the glossy, attractively designed magazine that had been landing in attorneys’ hands since 1979.
