A trademark suit the Chicago Cubs brought against a former intellectual property licensee will continue in Illinois federal court, a district judge held Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman of the Northern District of Illinois said the defendants, Aidan Dunican and his business Wrigley View Rooftop, cannot rely on an expired settlement agreement between the business and the baseball team to compel arbitration.
