January seems to be becoming “Gen AI month” for the business of law team that I help oversee here at ALM. Last year, for those who remember, we began the rollout of our team-wide project asking every Am Law 100 firm how they’re putting the new technology to use. This year, I put our newest addition, Jon Campisi, on a more targeted approach, but his inquiries to a slate of chief innovation officers and other experts reveal a broadening list of use cases, while firms are also recognizing the imperative of making their lawyers comfortable with it.
