Indiana’s attorney general filed an antitrust suit against Pfizer, Viatria, Mylan, King Pharmaceuticals, and Meridian Medical Technologies for allegedly conspiring to artificially inflate the price of epinephrine injectors, known as “EpiPens.”
Takeaway: Pharmaceutical companies are facing multiple lawsuits across the country over similar claims of monopolistic tactics designed to drive up the costs of life-saving medications.
