Blank Rome filed a lawsuit on behalf of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in Chicago, alleging St. Jude Laboratories failed to adhere to the parties' contractual terms arising from an agreement for the lease of lab equipment and the purchase of supplies.
Takeaway: Siemens Healthcare seeks over $14.3 million after the laboratory in Columbia, Maryland, allegedly failed to meet the minimum annual purchase commitment provided in the contract. Blank Rome has filed similar breach of contract suits this past month in Texas courts, among others.
