John S. Russell, former executive vice president and general counsel at Quintiles Transnational Corp., has joined the Research Triangle Park, N.C., office of K&L Gates — the firm’s first new partner since its entry into the Carolinas market through its July 1 combination with Kennedy Covington.
Russell practices in the firm’s life sciences practice group, where he focuses principally on representing drug development and discovery companies, as well as technology companies in the health care data field.
