Miami Beach attorney Sally Sawh has been charged with first-degree grand theft for allegedly pocketing more than $2 million from her trust account that a client set aside for condominium purchases.

Sawh voluntarily surrendered to the Miami-Dade state attorney’s office last week and was released on $10,000 bail, said defense attorney Brian Bieber of Hirschhorn & Bieber in Coral Gables, Fla. He said Sawh is innocent.
