Two lawyers formerly with McDermott Will & Emery and Dorsey & Whitney in the U.K. will stand trial on insider trading charges, sibling publication Legal Week reports.
In May, Britain’s Financial Services Authority acknowledged it was investigating former Dorsey corporate partner Andrew Rimmington and former McDermott corporate partner Michael McFall on insider trading allegations related to Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis’s $589 million acquisition of Manchester-based NeuTec Pharma in June 2006.
