A Town Court judge in Saratoga County, N.Y., has been censured for “gratuitously” invoking his judicial status when asking prison officials to confiscate documents from an inmate.
The documents related to a personal injury action filed by Milton Town Justice Carlos M. Calderon III against the inmate for injuries the judge allegedly suffered in a 2005 car accident.
