Houston trial lawyer Scott D. Lassetter died of a gunshot wound to the head, but the manner of his death is “undetermined,” the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled last week, according to Matt Doyle, a senior forensic nurse investigator. Doyle says there is “no sufficient evidence” to make a more specific determination as a homicide or a suicide.
The Houston Police Department continues its investigation, spokeswoman Jodi Silva says.
