A video game company is suing its lawyers, claiming they used its list of investors to try to drum up work for the firm by e-mail — some of it spam.

Skyworks Ventures Inc. of Jamesburg, N.J., alleges that the firm, Scarola Ellis of New York, breached its fiduciary duty by using the company’s confidential and proprietary information for its own benefit and that it engaged in breach of contract by overbilling.
