The Houston Lawyer Referral Service sued Houston lawyer W. Fulton Broemer and his firm on July 27, seeking a judgment to force them to pay referral fees to the nonprofit.

In a petition filed in the 295th District Court in Harris County, Texas, the HLRS asks Judge Caroline Baker to confirm an arbitration award and enter a judgment in its favor against Broemer and Broemer & Associates LLC. The HLRS also asks for costs, post-judgment interest and attorney fees.
