A former client is suing Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati over an alleged conflict of interest.
In a suit filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Oct. 12, Los Angeles-based Existence Genetics claims Wilson Sonsini IP partner Vern Norviel represented the predictive medicine company even though the firm also represented a direct competitor. Existence Genetics is claiming fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and professional negligence.
