Blank Rome‘s New York office has recruited partner Jay Lessler from Darby and Darby. Lessler specializes in domestic and foreign patent procurement, client counseling, and patent litigation, primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and computer software industries. He joins the firm’s intellectual property and technology group.

Epstein Becker & Green has hired Harry Silver as a partner in its Washington, D.C., health care and life sciences practice, as well as its litigation practice. Silver, a former litigator in the civil division of the U.S. Department of Justice, joins the firm from Patton Boggs. He represents health care providers in connection with fraud and abuse issues. His practice also includes Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement litigation and rule-making challenges under the Administrative Procedure Act.
