Bingham McCutchen yesterday recruited the former head of Goodwin Procter’s corporate practice in New York. L. Kevin Sheridan will join Bingham’s investment management and corporate practice groups. Robert Dombroff, managing partner of Bingham’s New York office, said in a statement that Mr. Sheridan’s arrival confirmed the firm’s commitment to growing its core legal strengths in key financial markets. “New York continues to be a priority for Bingham,” he said.

Mr. Sheridan was a co-founder in 1995 of the corporate boutique Roberts, Sheridan & Kotel. The firm merged in 2001 with Dickstein Shapiro. Mr. Sheridan subsequently joined Goodwin Procter in 2002. – Nate Raymond
