Transocean Ltd. last week announced the appointment of Nick Deeming, former top lawyer for Christie’s International, as its new general counsel. For the last three years, Deeming was responsible for Christie’s legal and compliance functions worldwide.
Deeming has more than 20 years’ experience and has worked within the oil and gas, financial services, IT, and medical insurance sectors. When he joined the auction house in 2007, Legal Week called Deeming “one of the U.K.’s best-known general counsel.”
