In a move that greatly expands its New York real estate practice, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw & Pittman announced Tuesday that it has hired five attorneys from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
The group, which includes the only two New York-based partners in Orrick’s real estate practice, consists of: partners Marc Shapiro and Jill Block, counsel Susan Saslow, and associates Jason Schlessel and Christine Roch. The moves leave Orrick with three real estate attorneys (one senior counsel and two associates) in New York, according to the firm’s website.
