PATTERSON BELKNAP WEBB & TYLER (New York): Michael F. Buchanan joins the firm’s intellectual property litigation and white-collar defense and investigations teams as partner in the New York office. Buchanan will focus his practice on intellectual property litigation, particularly pharmaceutical-industry patent matters. Previously, he was an assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
