Outsourcing attorney Nicholas Butler has joined Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal as a partner in the corporate practice. He was an outsourcing transactions negotiator at EquaTerra Inc.

Edward C. O’Callaghan has joined Nixon Peabody as a partner in the government investigations and white-collar defense practice. After leaving the Southern District U.S. Attorney’s Office in August, where he co-led the terrorism and national security unit for the past three years, Mr. O’Callaghan was a senior advisor to Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign.
