For the Connecticut Alliance for Business Opportunities (CABO), the mission is not only to grow businesses but to promote equality at the same time.

The 150-member statewide chamber, which includes gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members as well as allies, has done both since it started three years ago. Now, a new lawyers group has formed within the CABO to network and share referrals.
