Dechert has recruited veteran China lawyer Jingzhou Tao to lead its Asia practice.
Tao joined the Beijing office of Philadelphia-based Dechert Wednesday as Asia managing partner. He was a partner at Jones Day, where he was a partner since 2007. A general corporate partner focused on investment into China by multinationals, Tao also has a substantial international arbitration practice.
