Banco Industrial de Venezuela dodged $7 million in claims when the Florida Supreme Court on Thursday reversed an award to a former bank officer convicted of money structuring.
Esperanza de Saad, once head of the bank’s Miami office, claimed her former employer breached her employment contract and violated a state indemnification law by not paying her back wages and legal fees.
