Norton Rose is set to see a four-partner walkout from its Middle East practice, with regional managing partner Campbell Steedman among those set to leave the firm.

Steedman, a Dubai-based corporate partner, is set to join White & Case, while Dubai banking partner Anthony Pallett is to join Latham & Watkins. Abu Dhabi-based projects partner duo Dominic Harvey and Jonathan Brufal are leaving Norton Rose to join Vinson & Elkins.

Norton Rose said a variety of personal reasons lay behind the partner departures, adding that the firm is currently undertaking a review of its 62-lawyer Middle East practice in the wake of the challenging trading conditions to have hit the firm as a result of the financial crisis and the ‘Arab Spring’ uprisings in the region.
