SACRAMENTO — One day after a tort reform group demanded to see a contingency fee agreement between Orange County District Attorney Anthony Rackauckas and a plaintiff’s firm, the DA’s office released the document Wednesday afternoon.
Robinson Calcagnie Robinson Shapiro Davis received no upfront money for working with Rackauckas on an unfair competition lawsuit filed against Toyota Motor Sales in connection with claims that some of its cars accelerate uncontrollably, according to a copy of the agreement provided to The Orange County Register.
