Roberto Rivera-Soto, whose term on the state Supreme Court may best be remembered for its discordant coda, is back in private practice. Last Thursday, he joined Ballard Spahr as a partner.

Based in Cherry Hill, N.J., Rivera-Soto will focus his practice on complex commercial litigation, dispute resolution and gaming and construction law. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Nevada and in several federal courts.
