Dewey & LeBoeuf is set to launch a dedicated London restructuring practice with the hire of a two-partner team from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, including the firm’s European insolvency co-head Mark Fennessy.

Fennessy, who headed Hunton & Williams’ London restructuring group before jumping to Orrick in 2008, will be joined in the move by partner Hazel Miller. Miller specializes in corporate and financial restructuring work, and also advises on leveraged and real estate financing transactions. Both partners have recently been heavily involved in CMBS restructurings.
