Greenspoon Marder is on track to acquire Ruden McClosky for $5.6 million today after no other bidders came forward to make an offer for the troubled Fort Lauderdale law firm.

An auction scheduled Monday at the Fort Lauderdale office of Berger Singerman was canceled after no other potential bidders registered to snap up the law firm’s assets. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Raymond Ray is set to rule today on whether to approve the asset sale between the two Fort Lauderdale law firms.
