It’s been a bumpy San Francisco Bay Area road for Boston-based Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, whose Palo Alto office has hung by a string for the past few years. But Robert Bodian, who took over as the firm’s new managing partner 2 1/2 years ago in New York and has ties to the Bay Area from his Stanford Law School days, says things will be different this time. He sketched out some bold plans for the firm’s new San Francisco office, news of which The Recorder broke last week. Here is our edited conversation:
Q: What were your business and practice ambitions when you first opened in Palo Alto back in 2006, in terms of clients and type of work?
