Vedder Price has formed a government contracts practice in D.C. by luring the former heads of two other big-firm practices, the firm announced Monday.

Kevin Connelly and Eric Marcotte, formerly of Seyfarth Shaw and Winston & Strawn, respectively, join Vedder Price as shareholders. Associate Kelly Buroker also made the leap from Seyfarth. The lateral moves establish Vedder Price’s government contracts practice. Connelly said the firm is currently in talks with other attorneys.
