All seven of the Hong Kong partners who joined Clyde & Co through its merger last November with Barlow Lyde & Gilbert have now left to join the local offices of other U.K. firms.
“As part of the merger agreement a transitional period expiring at the end of March 2012 was agreed with the legacy BLG partners in their Hong Kong office,” Clyde & Co said in a statement. “In the event, they have decided to pursue their careers elsewhere and we wish them well.” The firm declined to comment further.
