SAN FRANCISCO Apple Inc. and Samsung’s top executives and their legal teams sat down for settlement talks on Monday even as they continued to duke it out over an injunction.
The court-led settlement conference in the smartphone patent battle comes in advance of a July 30 trial in U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh’s San Jose courtroom. She referred the companies to veteran U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph Spero for two days of talks.
