What are the hot practice areas for third-quarter job growth? General business, labor and employment, and litigation, according to a survey commissioned by Robert Half Legal, a legal staffing company.

Almost one-third of the lawyers interviewed for the survey say they plan to hire full-time legal staff — mostly attorneys — during the next three months. That’s up eight points from the results of the company’s survey about hiring trends for the second quarter of 2012.
