The state Supreme Court has disbarred Bucks County’s former chief deputy district attorney, despite a recommendation by the Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Board that he be suspended for five years.

The court, currently operating with six justices because of the suspension of Justice Joan Orie Melvin, ruled unanimously to disbar Anthony C. Cappuccio, who is currently on probation after pleading guilty to charges including endangering the welfare of children.
