U.S. law firm Loeb & Loeb has opened a Hong Kong office.

Capital markets lawyer Benny Pang will join the new office as a partner. Loeb & Loeb will also enter into an exclusive alliance with Pang’s firm Pang & Co., which has 16 lawyers and paralegals. The Hong Kong Law Society requires foreign firms to participate in such associations for three years before embarking on a full-fledged merger with a local firm.
