The American Lawyer on Monday announced the winners of its inaugural Global Legal Awards in 30 categories. Additionally, four grand prizes—Global Finance Deal of the Year, Global M&A Deal of the Year, Global Dispute of the Year, and The American Lawyer Global Citizenship Award—will be announced at the Global Legal Awards dinner on September 23, 2013, at Gotham Hall in New York City.

“We received over 300 nominations from firms, from every major global player in the U.S. and U.K., and many of the others around the world,” says ALM editor-in-chief Aric Press. “We ended up creating new categories after we saw the abundance of riches. This confirms how much cutting-edge, important global legal work there is.”
