A former congressman and state auditor general, who has accused federal judges of malfeasance, misconduct and abuse of power, has been suspended from practice for five years.

On Wednesday, the state Supreme Court ruled to suspend Donald A. Bailey, a Harrisburg-based civil rights attorney, for allegedly knowingly making false statements and making reckless misrepresentations of judges. The Supreme Court’s one-page per curiam order adopts the findings and recommendations report that the Disciplinary Board issued in May. Justice Seamus McCaffery did not participate.
