Intellectual property firm Rouse has become the first British firm to open a branch office in Myanmar.
The office currently has two lawyers. Partner and Thailand country manager Fabrice Mattei will split his time between Bangkok and Yangon and run the Myanmar office. Myanmar attorney Moe Mynn Thu joins the team from Myanmar Brewery Ltd., a Myanmar-Thai joint venture where he was in-house counsel.
